A The starting point is located in Orelec, next to a characteristic wooden sculpture of a Carpathian highway tołhaj, where we can leave vehicle. We cross the road no. 895 connecting Solina with Uherce Mineralne and at the sports field, next to the building of the former school we do a warm-up suggested on the route description board. We set off on the trail heading towards the historic wooden church of St Joseph dating from 1740, following a tarmac road we go uphill. After 1,5 km at the crossroads we turn right. A kilometre further, going 100 m. away from the red route, we can see a ature monument, a boulder called “the Stone of Orelec”. It has inspired an interesting legend called “the Stone Heart of the Stepmother”, written down by Oskar Kolberg. From below the summit of Michałowiec (472 m. a. s. l.) a dirt road goes down to Myczkowce, where we reach the halfway point by the entrance on the dam crest. Having familiarised ourselves with the tourist attractions of Myczkowce we follow the same route back to Orelec. Alternatively, we can prolong our walk by entering the black route to Zwierzyń or by crossing the dam and joining the green route. The route is aimed at fit people.
