Having done the warm-up suggested on the information board we set off. Initially the route overlaps the black route. We walk on a short section along the road no. 896 towards Lutowiska and following the route`s signs turn left. The surface changes from tarmac into dirt. In a moment we pass the interestingly arranged Spring of St Michael, an intermediate pump station of crude oil and cross an iron footbridge over a watercourse. The black route goes straight, to the village of Lipie, and we turn left and following a dirt road walk north. We turn left and along a tarmac road walk to the junction of Bieszczady Major and Minor Ring Roads. Taking precaution we cross the road and heading for Polańczyk after 200 m. turn left. Following a dirt road we reach a vantage point and through the forest reach a historic treadmill – a relic of the former oil mine. Ahead of us an almost 2 km walk along a tarmac road through the forest and passing through the premisses of `Pearl of the Bieszczady`we close the red loop finishing our walk.
