Route no 2 Ruda Maleniecka (red)
(length – 11.7km; estimated walking time – 2h)
An interesting 11.7km loop aimed both at the beginners as well as at the advanced Nordic Walking lovers. Initially the loop overlaps the black route. We walk on tarmac surface towards the village of Cis and, having reach the roadside cross on the bend of the road, we turn right following the route's marks. We walk through the forest along the dirt road, passing a primeval oak with a shrine and then across farmland. Having walked 1.5km we reach the village of Lipa. Walking along the cemetery wall we reach the tarmac road, where we turn right. We walk along the pavement, after a while cross the tarmac road and along the dirt road we walk towards the forest visible in the distance. After 6.9km from the beginning of the walk, wandering between the ponds, we reach 'Starzyk'. It is a giant oak, marked with a sign saying 'Nature Monument'. In the proximity we can find exercise boards and pulse measurement boards. We still follow firebreaks, turning left and right, following the route's marks. After 9km from the beginning of the walk we join the shortest (green) route in 'Local Action Group – At the Springs' Nordic Walking Park. After a short walk in the forest, between the buildings of Młotkowice, we reach the pond by the Depot, where we finish our walk.
