Solina Commune Nordic Walking Park

Solina Commune Nordic Walking Park is one of the seven parks of this kind marked out in the area of ‘The Green Bieszczady’ Local Action Group. The park includes three routes: green – a 4,6 km loop; red – a 6,6 km loop and black – a 9,2 km loop. Additionally, owing to the Communal Centre for Art, Sport and Tourism in Solina, based in Polańczyk, a back and forth route of 11,2 km, connecting the centre of Solina with the centre of Polańczyk, has been marked with red signs. The starting point is located in Zdrojowa Street in Polańczyk, near the amphitheatre. The routes are marked out along tarmac roads, dirt footpaths, firebreaks and pavements. The routes constitute a network of intersecting or overlapping loops of different lengths. This enables unlimited prolonging or shortening and changing the direction of the walks. The proposition is aimed not only at nordic walking enthusiasts, but also at other sports’ lovers, such as runners, cyclists or nordic skiers. The other six Nordic Walking Parks are located in the communes of Czarna Lutowiska, Solina, Olszanica, Ustrzyki Dolne and Tyrawa Wołoska. The total length of the routes in all seven parks equals 117 km..
