Nozdrzec Commune Nordic Walking Park
Nozdrzec Commune Nordic Walking Park is one of the six parks of this kind marked out in the area of the Local Action Group ‘The Land of Brzozów’ Association. The park includes four routes: green – a 4 km loop; red – a 9,6 km loop and black – a 36 km loop whit the entrance located on the premises of A. Fredro Primary School in Nozdrzec, and a 6 km red route there and back, with the entrance located at the Potocki manor in Izdebki (Anna Community Centre for People with Special Needs). At the Wielka Góra viewpoint (456 m a.s.l.) above Izdebki, there is a board with suggestions for exercises to be performed on your own. The routes are marked out along pavements, tarmac roads, dirt roads and firebreaks. The routes constitute a network of intersecting or overlapping loops of different lengths. This enables unlimited prolonging or shortening and changing the direction of the walks. The proposition is aimed not only at nordic walking enthusiasts, but also at other sports’ lovers, such as runners, cyclists or nordic skiers. The other five Nordic Walking Parks are located in the communes of Brzozów, Domaradz, Dydnia, Haczów and Jasienica Rosielna. The total length of the routes in all six parks equals over 280 km.
