Brzozów Commune Nordic Walking Park
Brzozów Commune Nordic Walking Park is one of the six parks of this kind marked out in the area of the Local Action Group ‘The Land of Brzozów’ Association. The park includes six routes: yellow – a 4,8 km back and forth route; green – a 5,3 km loop; red – a 12,2 km loop and black – a 17,6 km loop, all starting on the premises of the educational facility of Brzozów Forest Inspectorate in Brzozów-Zdrój. The other two routes include a 15 km loop marked with red marks and a 9 km black back and forth route, both starting at the recreation area in Grabownica Starzeńska, where a board containing suggestions for exercises to be performed on your own was installed. The routes are marked out along pavements, tarmac roads, dirt roads and firebreaks. The routes constitute a network of intersecting or overlapping loops of different lengths. This enables unlimited prolonging or shortening and changing the direction of the walks. The proposition is aimed not only at nordic walking enthusiasts, but also at other sports’ lovers, such as runners, cyclists or nordic skiers. The other five Nordic Walking Parks are located in the communes of Domaradz, Dydnia, Haczów, Jasienica Rosielna and Nozdrzec. The total length of the routes in all six parks equals over 280 km.
