'Nordic Walking Park in Jura' has over 470km routes of different levels of difficulty. The park is a result of the colaborative project of three Local Action Groups: ‘Jurajska Kraina” LAG, “Nad Białą Przemszą” LAG and “ProKoPaRa” LAG. The routes are aimed both at the beginners as well as at those Nordic walkers who look for a sporting challenge. The Nordic Walking Parks are located in sixteen communes: Bukowno, Bolesław, Iwanowice, Jerzmanowice-Przeginia, Klucze, Koniusza, Krzeszowice, Olkusz, Pałecznica, Proszowice, Radziemice, Skała, Słomniki, Sułoszowa, Trzyciąż and Wolbrom.
'Nordic Walking Park in Jura' constitutes a network of overlapping or intersecting routes, which enables unlimited prolonging, shortening or changing direction of walks. The routes are marked with clear information boards in accordance with the European standards of Nordic walking. They also contain detailed maps, general information on the technique, the choice of equipment and the health benefits of Nordic walking. Moreover, one can also find information on basic warm-up, muscle strengthening and stretching exercises. 'Nordic Walking Park in Jura' proposition is aimed not only at Nordic walking enthusiasts, but also at other sports’ lovers, such as runners, cyclists or Nordic skiers.
